Autumn-Morning Mist

Autumn-Morning Mist
12 x 12

There was most definitely some wishful thinking going on in the studio when I painted this. Hard to imagine that fall will ever come, but I was able to conjure up this painting of those lovely autumn mists from memory.

Thank you John! It was a bit of an experiment to see if I could scumble my way to the effect I wanted.

I can't believe this is from memory. The mood is so romantic and absolutely divine.

Thank you Deborah! Much of my work is based on memory. I consider it an essential tool.

One of my favorites, and it definitely isn't a result of wishful thinking. I lose myself in the atmosphere.
