Evening Sky

Evening Sky Oil 6 x 6
$100 + $10 shipping

I actually laid this piece in yesterday with the idea of doing a completely different time of day and light. But late yesterday, the color in the sky was so beautiful I just couldn't resist painting it this way- I guess I'm just a sucker for a pink sky.

Really like the composition and subdued color on this one....Mysterious...it leaves plenty for the viewer to interpret.

Love your work, Dean

Thank you Dean. That's very much my goal when I paint so I appreciate your comment! Thanks for stopping by.

These last two paintings are beautiful Deborah. You have perfected the impression of trees and bare branches without actually painting them as such.

Beautifully done :-)... Love how you've captured that fuzzy look where you can't quite focus on anything at that time of day. Was just outside looking at our sky and thought I'd google "painting the evening sky" and here I am.
