Summer Skies #2

Summer Skies #2
5 x 5
A storm came through a few days ago just at sunset, and thankfully cooled things off a bit. I love how dark the sky can get right before the rain starts.

This is a very moving piece.

Besides the color and drama, I love the way you use the canvas in the expression. Exquisite.

Thank you Casey-what a lovely thing to say. I've been enjoying your River series this summer!

I love your little sky studies. Great idea. Need to do same. Then I can enjoy yours without guilt.

LOL, Nancy! Get to it!

Thanks Sheila- it is challenging but well worth the effort!

I'll bet you're glad that was a sunset and not a brush fire your side of the horizon!
Very nice job of course!
You can't be dithering about with a sunset, eh?
Straight down to business and no mistake.
