This is another of those fall pieces that I put aside last November to work on other things. Its been almost four months but I still have a very vivid memory of the evening that inspired this painting.

This is so beautiful. I love the diffusion of edges caused by the low light.
Your colorful horizons are great, great, great.
I like the clear sky, too. Very crisp.
Your painting is crazy. The blurring of colors and detail are fantastic. When I look at the paintings have the feel of a nostalgic evening. I really like your painting.
I became your follower.
Oooo, I'm going to try and see this one before it sells. I love the little slice of moon in the sky. I've heard it called God's thumbnail.
Thank you Claire!
Glad you like it Casey!
Thanks and welcome d'Morais!
Hi Janelle. I'm shipping it Monday so it should be there by the end of next week. God's thumbnail- had not heard that but I like it!
Gorgeous painting, Deborah, and what a beautiful sky! Can't wait for the sky class!
Lovely foreground too!

taken by the art of them.
