Just the last day or so, signs of spring are everywhere. The daffodils have come up and there are buds on some of the trees. Tufts of green are springing up here and there in the woods. The dogs beg to go out and bask in warm sun. Steve has planted lettuce and onions and I had the studio door open today as I worked. Best of all, the wild plum tree is beginning to show signs of life!
The snowdrops are out here Deborah, a while to wait for the bluebells in the woods. It does feel like springtime here these last few days. Your beautiful painting is so evocative of a spring evening.
I'm never quite sure what to say about your paintings. They're always beautiful and masterfully done. The colors are always delicate at least that's the perception. Parts of it remind me of Andrew Wyeth and some of his dry brush paintings, yet they are your style and yours only. Someday I hope to see one in person. Keep painting with passion Deb, Doug

This painting really does evoke spring for me. A much-needed thing, since we are snowing sideways up here!
Sounds wonderful, Deborah - it's still pretty frozen here! Beautiful painting, I love the soft yellow sky.
